Safaricom is very strict regarding payment of their loans – whether Fuliza or Okoa Jahazi. You’ll understand this in-depth when you are a hustler like me.

Sometimes, you may wish to buy data bundles from Mpesa, but Safaricom would insist that first, you need to pay Okoa Jahazi.

paying okoa jahazi before buying data

But what if I told you I have a solution?

How to Buy Data Bundles Without Paying Okoa Jahazi

To buy Safaricom data bundles without paying Okoa Jahazi:

  • Download Facebook Lite and log in to your account.
  • Click Menu, the three horizontal lines at the top right of the screen.
  • Choose “Mobile Center – Safaricom PLC.” Alternatively, you can click “Buy Data” at the top of the screen.
  • Select your data bundles
  • Enter Mpesa PIN when prompted, and you have successfully bought data bundles without repaying Okoa.

Enjoy this method while it lasts. Safaricom may find out and decide to close the loophole.
